Project summaryThe overall objective of CAPRICE is international cooperation and exchange in the area of CO2-capture using amine processes. Post-combustion capture using amine processes is generally considered to be the leading capture technology which will be implemented first. The long-term aim is to contribute to the implementation of these technologies on a large scale.

Facts & FiguresThe scientific evidence for man-made changes in the earth’s climate as a result of so-called greenhouse gas emissions (in particular CO2) continues to increase. The option of CO2 capture from power stations and other large central sources followed by underground storage is rapidly gaining importance.
